Our McGuire Family: Gage

It's hard to believe our baby is one month old already!

One month old and so big!

A week late, but with our 1 month sticker!

You didn't have a one month checkup so here is my best guess at your stats:

Height: 22 inches

Weight: 8 lbs 8 oz

Here are a few things you have been up to:

You are our good little sleeper. You will usually only get up once during the night, somewhere between 3 and 5, and then go back to sleep until 6 or 7.
You do sleep in your pack n play in our room, and mommy is guilty of sometimes bringing you into bed if I want to sleep a little longer.
You're not a big fan of tummy time, unless mommy can give you your paci, then you will lay there for a while, sometimes falling asleep.
When you do tummy time, you can hold your head up (though still wobbly) for a few seconds, staring around. You really like to look at the butterfly in your book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and love looking in the mirror.
You are starting to become more alert, usually staying awake for an hour or two after your bottle at around 9. You will then nap most of the afternoon, and have another stretch of awake time in the early evening.
You are eating around 2 - 4 ounces each time we feed you. During the day you are eating every 1.5 - 2 hours.
You make some pretty funny faces when you are trying to pass gas or poop. Daddy says he makes those same faces.
You look just like your daddy! Though luckily you have mommy's eyes.
You have already been to your first K-State game. We took you to the K-State vs. Texas game of the Big 12 tournament at the Sprint Center. You had no problems, though mommy was a nervous wreck! You're the little good luck charm though, as the Cats have gone 5 of 6 since you were born.
You celebrated your first holiday with St. Patrick's Day. Grammy and Grandpa McGuire were in town to celebrate with you.
You are overall one happy guy, only fussy when you are wet, poopy, hungry or tired.
